Reliance Is Setting Up Gigafactories In India!

Reliance will build a total of 4 gigafactory facilities here in the near future. Our India's Reliance Industries plans to set up a gigafactory each for batteries, fuel cells, photovoltaic cells, and hydrogen at an investment of Rs. 60,000 crores over the next 3 years. Actually, this  gigafactory method was planed by Elon Musk is to keep 100 Gigafactory all over the world. Chairman and MD of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, announced the above on Thursday while addressing the company’s 44th annual general meeting. And he added that a further Rs. 15,000 crores would be spent on future technologies, value chain and partnerships, taking the total investment in the planned new energy ecosystem to Rs. 75,000 crores. According to Mukesh Ambani, the each Reliance gigafactory will work to manufacture and integrate all critical components of new energy ecosystem. “We have started work on developing the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex on 5000 acres in Jamnagar,” the

How Does Nitrous Oxide Help an Engine to Perform well?

Did anyone notice that little red button that Brian presses in his 1994 Toyota Supra Mark IV to keep up with Dom's Charger car in the last scene of the Fast and the Furious? We've all used it in all of the Need for Speed games. We used those buttons NOS, where it stands for Nitrous Oxide System. In this blog, let us see about the NOS used in cars.

Nitro boost is a concept that has been around for a while as early as during World War II. Some aircrafts had also used nitrous oxide injection systems in their engines.

The purpose of a nitrous oxide system ( NOS ) is to increase the power output of an engine. It does this by increasing the amount of fuel that can be burned, increasing the oxygen supply, and breaking down the nitrogen bond.

When it is injected into the engine system, nitrous oxide will break down into oxygen and nitrogen upon heat application. Combustion of the extra oxygen produced and more fuel generates more power. For this reason, cars usually have a few minutes of nitrous oxide injection, and it is fired selectively when it is necessary. Anyway using NOS is not legal.

Here comes the question, instead of injecting two nitrogens and one oxygen (NO) we can directly inject the oxygen into the engine which will rapidly produce more power than NO, but increasing the amount of oxygen in the combustion chamber can cause serious engine damage if the air-fuel ratio becomes too lean and the heat generated inside the engine will lead to a big issue.

For injecting those nitrous oxides there are two types.

Dry Injecting method:

Wet Injecting method:

I think you have got an idea about it!
